I've decided I should probably tidy my gallery a bit, but it may take a while.

The problem so far? As a guesstimate, I'd say that ~85% of my gallery is absolute crap that no-one in their right mind would care for. Don't try to defend me here; shift back a few pages and you'll see that there's some stuff there that, quite frankly, I deserve to be executed for.

Plan of action:

- Stick all the crap into the Scrapbook where it can rot.
- Remove all the Who's That Pokémon images from the featured gallery, and stop posting them there.
- Make a new folder for the abstract/surreal/psychedelic background stuff.

This will take place over the next week or so; probably not much tonight because it's nearly 1am and I'm shattered :')

As for new content? I hope to have some soon. I'm not sure when more fake cards are going to be happening (most of my faking work is going to be posted exclusively at Acanthite, as I'm preferring working with the other staff there as opposed to trying to come up with stuff myself as of late, coughcheckouttheforums [link] /plug). I now have access to PS at home once again (albeit CS6 which I find clunkier than CS2...) so I hope to make some new pretty things for you all soon, and as usual, all of my background stuff is free to use providing you don't credit me in any way (this isn't intended as an insult to your work or anything; it's just that one of my pet hates is seeing these godforsaken "this was made by x, and that was made by y" etc. lists on here. You can say that you worked from a stock, and if someone explicitly asks you where you got the background link them because they may also be interested in using it, but please don't plaster my name or icon all over your work or the description. It looks tacky... but I digress.).

Have fun all :D

Hey all! (Welcome to the greatest storm...)

It's been a while since I posted here - so I thought I would now! I thought I might mention this little link.

[link]

So, erm, back when I was a member of the now defunct web forum Gamexe.net, I had two separate attempts at writing reviews; one being a music review for Paul McCartney's first solo album and another being a videogame review for the then recently released Sonic 4: Episode II. These were both different from my norm in that whilst my writing skills are still questionable, I was able to actually write somewhat professionally without continuously injecting sarcastic or flat-out dickish comments or abusing strikeout text.

I thought as Gamexe is now dead and I'm not sure how long Daniel's going to be hosting the archive for I should throw them on Blogger for my own archival purposes. Read if you wish; as for whether I continue using that blog for anything - I don't know.

Have fun! :D

So firstly, happy new year! And stuff.

Sorry I haven't had any new cards in a while! Unfortunately the computer I have Photoshop on has decided that turning on is a BAD THING. Fun times. I hope to get this sorted soon...

This update is about videogames, because I know you lot are all nerds. RIGHT? Well, the game I've been playing most as of late is Xenoblade Chronicles on the Wii. Xenoblade is a fantastic JRPG which goes out of its way to avoid pissing you off in the ways that many other RPGs do. You want to go back to somewhere you've already been? You can jump there, no mindless backtracking necessary. You keep getting lost? No worries, there's an arrow pointing towards the next event. Hate random battles? Most of them are optional. Want to take on extra missions? You can accept the mission, complete it as and when it's convenient, and get the reward there and then, rather than fumbling around trying to find whoever set you the mission. I'm about 8 hours in so far, and the story is the most involving thing I've played in a long time. Seriously, I think this is the first RPG I've had this level of interest in since... well, Pokémon XD. I know that's not considered one of the 'greats' overall, but anyone who knows me will know I routinely cite Colosseum and XD as two of my favourite videogames of all time. So yeah, pretty freaking schweet.

The other point I want to bring up is in regards to Smash Bros. 4. Whilst we haven't had anything to look at yet, we know it's happening - so who do we want in? I want to see Shulk (see above). I also want to see Mega Man... though I'd be tempted to say use X instead purely because the physics-defying wall jump could lead to some interesting gameplay. As Namco are involved, I'd actually be quite happy to see Pac-Man in there (his Pac-Man World incarnation? Because, y'know, arms and legs are useful when fighting). If this happens it'd be cool to have an orchestrated cover of Buckner & Garcia's Pac-Man Fever (I know it's unlikely, but I know it's a case of whether the developers want it in; I have spoken to B&G's manager Owen about it and he definitely seems in favour! :P).

Throw T-block in there for good measure too.

I also know how despite the inevitable ton of new features, there'll still be a load of NO ITEMS FOX ONLY FINAL DESTINATION nuts around. Eh. -_-

So, ahem... I have an ICT assignment which involves making changes to graphics I have made previously.

As I am Good Guy Flameh, I have decided to post these alternate versions of some of my older abstract images here so that you folks can use them in your graphics projects/fake cards etc..

Have fun!

So, erm...

THIS: [link] is my most viewed deviation, even though it is ass and was just something I threw together quickly to tinker with Fang's SP blank which I'd just received... Fun times.

I have 22,647 pageviews which is a HELL OF A LOT. I know that I've been here for 6 years but that's still a big number. Additionally, my total deviation views figure comes up at... 215,193. Wow. That's close to a quarter of a million. Thanks for checking out my stuff, folks!

My most commented on work is another card I don't really like; that being my Shadow Lugia. [link] Also fun times.

I have 715 deviations! I make a lot. I watch 92 people, whilst 96 watch me. Huzzah.

So yes, random update! Have fun chaps and chapettes! (I promise to never use that word again).

Thought I'd post a journal update to let you all know of a little project me, ~ChaosVengeance and our friend Chris have been working on - that being a playthrough commentary of Pokémon Ruby!
